Duragen Plus 4IN X 5IN Adhesion

Duragen Plus 4in x 5in Adhesion is used for restoring and repairing defects that occur after cranial and spinal procedures. It has a uniform pore structure that facilitates cell ingrowth. In certain surgeries involving brain and spinal cord, neural tissues get exposed after the said procedure. This matrix acts like a normal soft tissue and conforms to the complex surfaces of exposed nerve tissues.

• To cover large defects after surgery (Cranial convexity)
• To treat brain swelling that is likely to occur after brain surgery
• Adhesion barrier to inhibit post-surgical peridural fibrosis

This matrix readily conforms to the surface of the brain, spinal cord and other tissues. It closes dural defects following traumatic injury, excision, retraction or shrinkage. It provides a physical barrier between dura and overlying tissues and protects against fluid leakage. The matrix remains in place and resorbs after healing is complete.
