ROSCILLIN 500MG INJECTION contains Ampicillin which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It is used to treat bacterial infections of the ear, nose, throat, respiratory tract (bronchus, lungs), urinary tract, genital tract, stomach, blood, brain and skin or soft tissues.
It can also be used to treat typhoid fever, meningitis (inflammation of the lining of the brain), peritonitis (inflammation of the lining of the stomach) and endocarditis (inflammation of the lining of the heart and its valves).
ROSCILLIN 500MG INJECTION should be used under medical supervision. Do not stop receiving ROSCILLIN 500MG INJECTION even if you feel better during the midway of the therapy. Failing to complete the full course of the therapy or skipping doses in between the therapy may not result in adequate infection control.
During therapy with ROSCILLIN 500MG INJECTION, your doctor will periodically monitor your health condition through several blood tests/urine tests to access the improvement in your condition and to reduce the risk of unwanted side effects. ROSCILLIN 500MG INJECTION is suitable for use in adults and in children (aged 10 years or older; weighing 20 kg or more).
Before receiving ROSCILLIN 500MG INJECTION inform your doctor if you have any kidney problems. You must also inform your doctor if you have blood cancer or any viral infections (such as cytomegalovirus infection) as a precaution.

ROSCILLIN 500MG INJECTION is a bactericidal agent. It kills the susceptible bacteria by blocking the bacterial cell wall synthesis that is essential for the bacterial cell to survive. This action destroys the susceptible bacteria, prevent their further growth and multiplication and reduce the severity of the infection.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
ROSCILLIN 500MG INJECTION will be given to you only by a doctor or a nurse into the vein (intravenously) or into the muscles (intramuscularly).
Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of therapy for you depending upon your age, body weight and severity of the infection.
Do not miss a dose or stop receiving ROSCILLIN 500MG INJECTION without consulting your doctor as it may worsen your condition.

Pregnancy

INTERACTIONS
