Agneon ointment is used in the prevention of infections due to wounds and burns. It works by releasing the silver ions in the skin, which are involved in killing and preventing the growth of infectious micro-organisms. Agneon ointment is also used in the prevention of gonococcal infection. This cream speed up the healing process.
Avoid close contact with eyes while using agneon ointment. It is for external use only. In case of accidental contact with your eye or mouth, immediately rinse it with water. Apply the ointment as advised by the doctor. Do not miss the dose even if you feel better, as it may worsen the condition. Wash your hands before and after applying the ointment.
